Due to their technological properties, sandwich panels for walls and roofs are widely used in the rapid construction of mixed-use buildings. Depending on the structural requirements of the building, polyisocyanurate foam (PIR) and mineral wool (MW) are used for insulation.

PIR insulation boards are the most popular in building construction because their thermal insulation properties are superior to those of polyurethane foam, mineral wool or polystyrene foam. PIR insulation has the highest average density compared to other thermal insulating materials, is water-repellent and lightweight.

PIR thermal insulation boards can be classified as a safe and environmentally friendly material, as the insulation does not release substances hazardous to health, does not react with chemicals and does not deform. At the same time, the wall panels have a high fire safety rating because, when exposed to fire, the polyisocyanurate foam forms a special layer (crust) that prevents combustion, resulting in a natural flame retardant effect.

Due to their high density and low thermal conductivity, these products can be made thinner than other heaters, all other parameters and functionalities being equal.
